Looking, trying to make images of what is seen. This is the start of things for me. Where ever imagination, analysis, interpretation takes me it all has to be rooted in visual experience. My father was a self portraitist all his life. I seem to be doing the same. Every ten years or so doing another tracing the changes to my face.
