Littlemore
This sequence of small paintings ( most just 13cm x 18cm ) are an attempt to record some immediate sights from my studio window. It is an intimate backgarden-scape of low sky, shed roof, old apple tree, lanewall, altered minute by minute as the sun, cloud, wind shift according to the season. Some are direct a response others a synthesis of accumulated moments. They are an ongoing project of being. Living and working in one place.
